A ready property is completed, has a title deed already issued, and is immediately occupiable — either to live in, to let long-term, or to run as short-stay. The two big advantages over off-plan are tangible: no construction risk and no timing risk. The unit exists, the building exists, the actual view from the actual window is the view you’ll have. The trade-off is that ready typically prices above the equivalent off-plan by 10-20% because handover risk has been removed.

For cash-flow focused investors, ready is nearly always the correct category. Rental income starts month one, entry pricing carries less uncertainty, and the DLD title deed means financing is straightforward. For leveraged-appreciation investors, off-plan still wins if the cluster has a working pipeline and the developer has a delivery track record.
