Majid Al Futtaim Group specialises in the development, construction, ownership and management of large shopping centres in various countries including Cairo in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Some of the largest shopping centres in the United Arab Emirates include Mirdif City Centre and Mall of the Emirates. A further 13 sites are under construction or have been completed and are located in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Cairo, Oman, Lebanon and Bahrain.
In addition, Majid Al Futtaim Group is developing integrated communities, offering the concept of living, leisure and working in one place. These communities include premium residential properties, commercial and retail spaces, various cafes, restaurants, cinemas and marinas.
Majid Al Futtaim has a licence for the Carrefour brand (hypermarkets and supermarkets) and is successfully operating in the Central Asia, Middle East and North Africa markets. The holding company operates Magic Planet family entertainment centre, City Center shopping centre and VOX Cinemas.
The main goal of Majid Al Futtaim, according to its founder, is to provide people with pleasure and a unique experience in the field of shopping, cooking, recreation, travel and in life in general.
